In the mid 1930's, around a kitchen table in East Calgary, the need to provide people with a safe and convenient means to save money, as well as a place to help them solve their financial problems, was discussed amongst a group of friends. As a result of these discussions Inglewood Savings and Credit Union Ltd. was incorporated on October 25th, 1938 with a total membership of 13. We are proud to say that we are now the oldest Credit Union in the Province of Alberta with assets over twelve million dollars and 1,500 members.

Inglewood Savings and Credit Union Ltd. offers a wide range of financial services to the general public. We do our best to balance the original "Not for profit but for people" Credit Union philosophy with a number of modern conveniences. We have all the same products and services as the "big banks' but offer a more relaxed and personal atmosphere to meet your financial needs.
